What is the territory covered for product delivery?

Our territory is limited to Canada only. However, we cover all provinces and territories in Canada.

Provinces:
Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Saskatchewan and Newfoundland and Labrador.
Federal Territories:
Northwest Territories, Nunavut and the Yukon


What are the shipping costs?

Since 2022, we offer free shipping in all Canadian provinces and territories for all orders of $139.99 and more. We have no minimum purchase to make the delivery, however for all orders under 139,99$ it will be necessary to foresee a fee of 19,99$ to make the delivery.

Please note that the shipping fees for the return of goods are not included and will be at your expense. Our deliveries are insured through professional delivery services. We are not responsible for lost or stolen merchandise. For more information, contact us or consult our delivery policy.


What are the delivery times?

  • Québec: 2-3 jours
  • Ontario: 4-5 jours
  • Other provinces and territories: 5-7 jours

  • Delivery times are not the same for all Canadian provinces and territories. We work hard to process your orders as quickly as possible to get them in your hands as soon as possible.

    What is your return policy for items purchased online?

    Unless otherwise specified, all Grisport products can be returned within 30 days of purchase. Products must be in their original condition and returned in their original packaging. Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer.

    You also have the option of returning the product to our store if the conditions allow it.     What is the return policy for a Christmas gift?

    We have exceptionally changed the return policy for the holiday season. We understand that there can be order errors when making a purchase for someone else as a gift. That's why all purchases made between November 21 and December 31 will be eligible for the extended return policy.

    During this period, all products can be returned, under the usual conditions, until January 31st. The merchandise must be returned to the warehouse before this date. For more information, visit our return policy.


    How long does it take to get a refund on an item purchased online and returned by mail?

    We do our best to process returns and refunds as quickly as possible. Our goal is your satisfaction, even if you return our products!

    At the time we receive the returned merchandise in the store, it takes 5 business days to get the refund. When the return arrives at the warehouse, we have to receive and inspect it to make sure that the product complies with the return conditions. Then we proceed with the refund, which must be processed by the banking institutions before being deposited into your account.

    Are the online transactions on your website secure?

    What payment methods are accepted for an online purchase?

    For online purchases, we accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) and debit/credit cards that are compatible for online purchases. As long as you have your card number, expiration date and cvc, you can purchase on our website.

    Unfortunately, we don't accept cryptocurrencies yet and we still haven't found a way to accept physical money online. Maybe one day... or not! If you are having trouble completing the transaction, contact us.


    Do the Grisport boots and shoes match the actual size displayed?

    Yes, however, since Grisport is a European brand, the sizes listed for the products are in continental sizes. If you are more familiar with Canadian/American sizes, please refer to our conversion table.

    It is also important to check if it is a women's, men's or mixed model to use the right conversion table. If in doubt, do not hesitate to contact us to be sure of your choice. We will be happy to help you!


    Are Grisport products water and snow resistant?

    The vast majority of Grisport products are water resistant or completely waterproof. We use proven technologies for both our water resistant and waterproof products. All our products have a clear and precise description of the characteristics. Take the time to read the description of the product you are interested in, you will find the mentions on their waterproof capacity.

    As for snow, all products in the WINTER category are snow resistant, however there are several levels of water resistance. If you want to know more about the technologies used in the construction of our boots and shoes, please refer to our technologies section.


    Is the leather you use for the design of some of your products of high quality?

    Using the right leather is of paramount importance and Grisport scours the world for the best leather available. Selecting the best leathers ensures breathability, performance and exceptional comfort.

    Our leather is tested to ensure maximum waterproof protection possible. The thickness of our leather varies between 2 mm and 2.2 mm.


    Are Grisport products waterproof?

    We have a growing offering of waterproof products. Not all of the product categories we sell have waterproof footwear. For example, our Casual shoes or the one that focuses on better breathability do not need this feature.

    Our goal is to offer more and more completely waterproof products in the coming months and years. In the meantime, here are a few products that might interest you if you are looking for a waterproof boot or shoe. Aetna, Bromont, Capri, Cross, Fuji, Genoa.

    Is it better to take boots or shoes for the hike?

    This is one of the most frequently asked questions. The answer is quite simple, it depends on the type of use you plan to make of them. If you're going to hike on a groomed trail, a pair of shoes will do the job.

    However, if you plan to hike on undeveloped trails, then a hiking boot might be a better choice because of its ankle support. Finally, if you are hiking off-road in the forest, a pair of boots is highly recommended, not only for its support on uneven terrain, but also for its protection against certain plants and grasses that could cause allergic reactions.


    How do I take care of my boots?

    There are several ways to care for your Grisport products. First, in the "accessories" section, find our specialized care products for leather or nubuck.

    What type of lining do you use for the design of your products?

    Some walking shoes can be made with a waterproof interior that will protect your feet from wet conditions, ideal for walking in wet weather.

    Our Spotex and Sympatex membranes are manufactured to make the boots highly breathable with durable waterproof protection. We carefully close all seams inside the boot to ensure better insulation than traditional open liners.


    What is the Support System®?

    The Support System® is an effective heel lock system designed and patented by Grisport to achieve perfect foot control with optimal grip during all phases of movement. The fit is always comfortable and secure.


    What are the soles used in the design of your shoes?

    All Grisport products are equipped with the Vibram outsole. Each Vibram® outsole is designed to provide maximum performance, comfort and durability for even the most demanding user. With over 60 years of experience, Vibram® works with Grisport to ensure that each sole undergoes rigorous testing and inspection. Vibram insoles are the best to wear.

  • Insole: For arch support: an anatomical, perforated insole for fantastic breathability. It is antibacterial, removable and odor resistant. It can be removed for the insertion of orthopedic insoles.

  • The midsole: The component between the insole and the outsole, it acts as a shock absorber, helping to protect your feet and provide superior comfort. The Grisport sole stabilizer provides support for the arch of the foot and is torsion resistant to ensure maximum stability when walking and reduce flexing on uneven ground.

  • Outsole: The outsole is the rubber or TPR strip that runs along the bottom of the shoe. Deeper lugs tend to be more effective in rough conditions, while shallower lugs offer more comfort for rockier trails. With over 60 years of experience, Vibram® works with Grisport to ensure that each model undergoes rigorous testing and inspection.



  • What makes your shoes the most comfortable?

    Our shoes are designed and tested for different foot shapes to ensure maximum comfort and minimum fatigue.

    Grisport shoes are ergonomically designed to fit all types of feet. Even the upper has been custom built to avoid gaps so that the shoes wrap perfectly around your feet for comfort and a precision fit. Our unique CAD technology simulates all phases of walking in every design we create.


    What tests do you perform to ensure the quality of your products?

    We constantly subject our shoes to rigorous testing in our laboratories. We check the abrasion resistance and the durability of the materials to guarantee a high resistance to wear.

  • Dynamometer: We constantly subject our shoes to strict tests in our laboratories; the dynamometer allows us to check the quality of the grip of the sole on the upper.

  • Martindale: Our labs perform this test to verify abrasion resistance and material durability to ensure greater wear resistance.


  • The model I'm interested in is no longer available in my size, will you receive another one?

    We work extremely hard to have as many sizes available for each of our models. Basically, for all of our regular products, if it is no longer available in a size, it should come back soon. Of course, we keep a smaller inventory for sizes outside the norm, whether it be smaller or larger.
